There was a really lot of hype about this drama and recently I got chance to watch and that drama is none other than Healer.
Healer is a South-Korean drama about a guy called Healer, who is a mysterious night errand guy who does anything for his clients for money except murder, to accomplish his dream of buying a remote island. But during one of his missions, he comes across an old incident in which his father was involved and now he wants to track back and find out whether it is true or not ?
There is so much more to this drama than just a murder mystery and romance. It explorers topics likes friendship, love and relationships in general.
About the characters now, there is our main character Healer/Park Bong Soo/Seo Jung-Hoo, he does all the illegal work for his clients except for murder. He is an extremely smart and intelligent guy but has no social skills. And opposite him is Chae Young-Shin/ Oh Ji-an who is a bright, fun loving girl with a tragic past. Both of these characters meet and fall in love through the series, they have great chemistry and they both look great with each other.
Ji Chang-wook really shines in this one after his historical drama Empress Ki. Park Min-young is also very good in this drama, I am seeing her after a long time, I guess after Sungkyukwan Scandal. I know she was there in City Hunter after that as well but I liked her more in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and in this one. Both are really cool actors for sure.
I must say the supporting characters in this drama are amazing. After a really long time the supporting characters are as interesting as the two main characters. Their story is also equally interesting. Even though all of the back stories of the characters are some way or the other inter-related, one can easily have more feels for the supporting characters than main characters.
In this one if I had to give credit to any one, I must say I would give it to all supporting characters a little more than the leads.
This drama is quite interesting due to its good plot and twists but as a drama fan and the amount of dramas I have watched, this drama did not intrigued me as much as I wanted it to be.
But still I had good time with it. You can definitely watch it once for the good acting, nice plot and sweet romance.
